The Beginning

 In August 1991, we bought our first Golden Retriever, Penny the Apporteur, from the family Heeren. Pim as we called her was our first dog. We took her to obedience, tried out hunting training en did our first show in ’95 in Hasselt Belgium. All of this got us really wound up to start working with dogs. Pim died too young at the age of 8.

 In October 1998 we bought Xanders van Balderheim from the family Klitsie. We started showing a bit more with him and got a few places. Now we got really enthusiastic and we were spotted at more and more shows.

 At one of these shows I saw a smaller retriever. His colour was red with a few white markings. I fell in love at first sight with this little dog. After a few phone calls we found Els van de Langenberg of Great Pleasure. She welcomed us warmly and we got all the information we wanted about the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Not very long after that Luca was born. Luca was a very promising male and we are very proud that we can call him now by the name of Multi Champion Axaluca of Great Pleasure. 

 After a while we brought into our kennel, Toller CC Whisper of Great Pleasure and Golden Retriever Anika van ‘t Solveld. We hope these 2 ladies will be the foundation bitches of our kennel.
